DOROTHY FINLAY, a 73 year old retired hairdresser from Morningside has lived in the city "Anabolika Definition" since she was just 17, after the lure of the "quiet, picturesque Capital" seduced her away from her family home in Manchester.

"I moved here with just one little suitcase containing all my worldly possessions and I was so excited to be coming to such a beautiful place.

"The houses, the tenements, the gardens, the parks everything was so idyllic and a world away from the bleak, industrial town I was used to. Imagine having the privilege of having a castle and palace on your doorstep. So many people did and still do take this for granted.

"I became a mobile hairdresser and soon I was doing many a Morningside lady's hair and being invited to all the top dinner parties and dances. I loved my new life and there was nowhere else I'd rather be."

Dorothy moved into a little flat in Springvalley Gardens which, she admits, cost her almost her weekly pay packet Comprar Gh Jintropin in rent, but was worth it.

"There was something about the area that sat well with me. 4-chlorodehydromethyltestosteron It was quiet but there was a hustle and bustle about it. The people were charming and friendly a world away from Manchester living, and it just suited my temperament.

"Back in the 50s, 60s and 70s Morningside was where I shopped, worked and socialised. It was almost like a quaint village within a city and everyone knew one another. My groceries came from all the lovely Anavar Zmrc local retailers like butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers and St Cuthbert's for kitchen staples."

She continues: "I even remember the Canny Man's being the place to go as they had a go go dancer, dancing away in the corner. It was quite scandalous at the time, but my friends and I loved "Anadrol 50" to go there as there was such a buzz about the place."

But, like everything in life, things change.

"When I see how Morningside has evolved it does make me sad," admits Dorothy. "My memories are fading, as is the ambience and character of what was once such a beautiful area. Almost all of the independent shops have long since given up and all we have left is big supermarkets, high street shops.

"You can no longer just wander up and down Morningside Road browsing in shops and bump into people you know and that has nothing to do with my age. People now are always in a rush and aren't as friendly."

But Dorothy's children and grandchildren love the area. "I suppose they haven't seen the change I have as they love Morningside. My daughter has a house around the corner, and my grandchildren own flats nearby and they call it 'cosmopolitan'.

"They love that it's now fast paced and has lots of big shops and bars. But I think Morningside is selling itself short now. It's not half the place it used to be."
